Yesterday we carried out a service on the new Philips which were installed nearly 2yrs ago. It is surprising what dirt builds up on the LEDs. Makes a big difference to clean say every 2yrs. The club were impressed with the service Sports Lighting has given them. Ground was so hard we only need the […]
Just completed a superb installation of the new Philips LEDs at the main headquarters of the Devon FA. The installation was a challenge, where we had to take all the outside areas into account and come up with a perfect lighting solution using 3 different types of optics. The Devon FA have put onto the […]
Plymouth Parkway had new Philips LEDs installed approx 12 months ago. They decided they wanted slightly more light than the 200 lx on the pitch. As they are a growing club. We installed another 4 Philips LEDs to the existing installation. The outcome was brilliant. Take my hat to the club and all there dedicated […]
Sports Lighting is always on hand when we have to do a reversal on the columns. Taking the columns away and moving them into the corner due to the sharing of the Football Club with the local Cricket Club. Twice a year, one trip to take them away another trip to bring them back !!! […]
First job to turn one of the columns around so it dropped onto the pitch. Before it could not be lowered because of dug-outs in the way. We removed all the old Metal Halide fittings and switch gear from the old system, which was failing on every turn on. Now Ivybridge Town have a new […]
Installed a new Philips LED system at Westfield FC, Woking. Existing 6 x 15mt base hinged columns with 12 x Abacus Metal Halide Lights. The boys left home at 6am, arrived at 10am, installed 12 Philips LEDs and finished by 7pm. All columns lowered, off with the old lights, on with the new Philips LEDs, […]

Another successful Lux Level test carried out this week at Exeter City. Been doing the Lux Level Testing at the club for many years. Still passed with flying colours. Sports Lighting doing what we do best
Two football pitches next to the Rugby Stadium had to have a complete re-fit, as in all columns and old metal halide lights disposed off. Installed new 15mt Abacus Columns and 24 x BELL 1800w Powertrone LEDs. Just like the Rugby Pitch the end result was superb. New cabling and switchgear were installed to a […]
We installed new columns and metal halide lights back in 2019. Time for a big change. We have now installed new Philips LEDs with superb levels and uniformity. The installation has a full dimming system. Started the installation at 7.30am and finished by 5pm. The club was well pleased with the new installation and peace […]
